How does he do it?

How does Bowie do it? Define lives, moments of lives, time, moments of time – across four, almost five decades now and probably just as many generations. I don’t understand it. How does someone ring so true for so many people who, accordingly to all the other trend and social/cultural analyses, feel so differently about everything else? Either we’re not really all that different after all or Bowie is, as all the kids in the 70s used to think (and many others after), God. Ohhhhh. I just got a whole other perspective on the word ‘truth’.
